  1. Day 1 Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

    Day 1

    Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

    Get picked up by our company representative and transferred to Eka Hotel for Dinner and overnight stay. The drive from the airport to the Hotel will be a bit busy as you will be on one of the busiest highways in Kenya. This should be a 30 minutes ride depending on Traffic.

    Once at the hotel you will get checked in and before heading to the room, you will have a 10 minutes briefing by your tour rep on how your trip will go.

  2. Day 2 Amboseli National park

    Day 2

    Breakfast will be served between 6 and 7:30 AM. At 7:30 be ready to check out and meet with your driver guide at the reception.

    You will then proceed to Amboseli National park, a 4 and half hour drive. Amboseli is famous for its great and scenic view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, big game, lots of elephants and over 400 bird species

    Amboseli is 392 square kilometers or 151 square miles. It was established 1974. The altitude is 1150 Meters above sea level. The climate is mainly hot and dry.

    The national park embodies 4 main wildlife habitats; open plains, acacia woodlands rocky shrublands and swamp and mush lands.

    On Arrival at the lodge, check in and have lunch. In the afternoon at 4, meet your driver guide for your first game drive that will be about 2 hours.

    The evening game drive is a good opportunity to see the different spices of animals we have in Amboseli.

    Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

     

  3. Day 3 Morning game drive

    Day 3

    An early start to catch the beautiful sunrise and a morning game drive. The morning game is a good opportunity to see the predictors before the seek shade due to the heat.

    Back to the lodge for breakfast.

    After breakfast take time to enjoy the camp facilities and relaxing by the poolside.

    In the evening at 4, go out for another game drive to be back by dusk.

    Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

     

  4. Day 4 Lake Naivasha

    Day 4

    After breakfast at 7:30, check out and leave for a 5-hour trip to Lake Naivasha through the scenic Rift valley. Naivasha is a small town located in the Rift Valley and has flower farming as main economic activity.

    During the colonial time it was known as happy Valley as many of the white settlers would meet and have parties.

    Lake Naivasha is a fresh water lake that is 139 square kilometers and was Kenya’s principal airport between 1937 and 1950 for Catalina flying boats.

    Lake Naivasha is a protected area was gazette in 1995. The lake offers recreation activities like, fishing and boating. It is birders paradise due to the variety of water bird’s species.

    On Arrival at lake Naivasha, check and have lunch.

    Spend the afternoon enjoying facilities or on an hour boat ride looking for beautiful water birds and spotting families of hippos. (The boat ride is an extra cost)

    Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

     

  5. Day 5 Maasai Mara National Park

    Day 5

    After breakfast, check out and embark on a 5 hours journey to the world famous Maasai Mara National Park.

    The Maasai Mara is 1510 square Kilometers (580 square miles) and was established in 1961. It has over 90 species of animals. It is famously known for the wildebeest migration that happens annually between June and October every year.

    The Maasai Mara national reserve is primarily an open grassland. Game viewing can be very rewarding as you can spot all the big five during your stay.

    On arrival, check in and lunch.

    In the evening at 4, head out for a game drive.

    Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

     

  6. Day 6 Full day game drive

    Day 6

    After breakfast at 8 Am, we will go out for a full day game drive with packed lunch.

    Optional at an extra, do a balloon ride followed by full day game drive

    Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

  7. Day 7 Enjoy the camp facilities

    Day 7

    Early morning game drive and back to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, take time and enjoy the camp facilities or visit the Maasai village (at extra cost)

    In the evening at 4, head out for a game drive.

    Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

     

  8. Day 8 JKIA departure

    Day 8

    Optional early morning game drive or check out after breakfast, depending on International flights time.

    On Arrival in Nairobi, we head out for Lunch with an option to visit giraffe center later in the afternoon at extra cost.

    Proceed to JKIA for departure.
